The Colonie Police Department arrested John Hammond at the Days Inn Hotel on Wolf Road in the Town of Colonie on August 22, 2012 . Hammond did intentionally attempt to force a victim to engage in acts of prostitution to retire or repay a purported debt while the victim was under the influence of narcotics, specifically heroin. On April 29, 2014, Hammond pleaded guilty of (1) Count of Attempted Sex Trafficking, a Class C Felony, before the Honorable Peter A. Lynch in Albany County Court. He was sentenced to 2 to 6 years in State Prison on July 17, 2014.
The Guilderland Police Department arrested Darryl Ford at a hotel on Western Avenue in the Town of Guilderland on April 10, 2014. During the incident FORD did patronize a prostitute. FORD also struck the female during the incident. FORD pleaded guilty to (1) Count of Attempted Assault in the Third Degree, a Class B Misdemeanor, and (1) Count of Patronizing a Prostitute, a Class A Misdemeanor, before the Honorable Judge Bailey in Guilderland Town Court on August 14, 2014.
